Kristen DelPaine, DPT

 

Kevin is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, who has been practicing physical therapy for more than 17 years.  He graduated from Quinnipiac University with his master's degree in physical therapy and while at Quinnipiac interned at Hartford Hospital and Georgetown University medical center.  He has worked at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston and UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.  He is an ImPact Trained Physical Therapist, a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the APTA and an assembly representative for the Central MA district of the APTA of MA. Kevin is an Emergency Medical Responder and member of the National Ski Patrol.  He has worked with patients and athletes at all levels of competition throughout his career including professional athletes, as well as; division I, II, and III level collegiate athletes.

 

 

 

Kristen has been practicing physical therapy for 15 years. She graduated from Worcester State University in 2003 with a bachelor's in health science and a minor in Business. While at Worcester State University she played 4 years of college basketball and stayed with the team for an additional year as an assistant coach. She worked as personal trainer both in Worcester and Boston for the next 5 years while she attended graduate school at Simmons University. She graduated from Simmons University in 2008 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She began her career at Lahey Hospital where she worked both inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy. While at Lahey she worked with the orthopedic Surgeons to write several rehabilitation protocols. She went on to work as an outpatient therapist at UMass Memorial Health Alliance for the next 10 years where she focused on pre and post orthopedic surgical interventions, athlete injury prevention and return to sport, balance disorders and chronic overuse injuries.
